Wheelchair tennis is the variation of tennis, dedicated to people with motor disabilities. The “Wheelchair Tennis” is experiencing a period of great evolution, it arrived in Italy in 1987 and today it has about 400 athletes nationwide. Wheelchair tennis is one of the fastest growing sports, both for the spectacular nature of the game and for the number of players, in which the Paralympic Committee invests a lot, as does the Italian Tennis Federation (FIT).
